LOL Chrissy, I don't have a wii....so I had to use my scale! We have no fun stuff like that here Do you recall how long the first appt with the specialist will take? I wonder if I made a 9:30 appt, if I would miss most of the rush hour traffic? I'm still getting used to all this planning around traffic....never had to worry about it in the Interior.
You should be ok with 9:30 michelle. He does take his time, and I have had to wait a couple of times for a while in the waiting room, but other times we went right in. He told me that a lot of times they have no shows for initial appointments & they make them on the same day usually, so it all depends on other people. I would count on an hour give or take. He's done a few scratch tests on Nico, but only about 4 at a time & you have to wait 15 minutes to see if there's a reaction, then he comes back in and talks to you & continually checks the site for reactions. You will probably watch a video on his laptop about treating excema as well, that's about 10 minutes long, then he goes over all that stuff with you. He's very thorough & friendly. I get a really good vibe off of him. he seems to be really up to date with current studies, etc.. too, which is nice in a doctor. He's also about 10 feet tall! Not really, but he is super tall. he's great with Nico too, obviously comfy with babies.
Melissa, when we had the regular Wii Fit, it measured in pounds, but since the upgrade it switched to kilos. I fixed it by going to the Wii setup menu (you get to it on the main wii menu with the weather channel/photo channel etc...) In there I switched our home country to USA, instead of Canada. Now the Fit Plus is in pounds. HTH!

Chrissy, got a 9:30 appt in March so will let you know how it goes!
Hi Patti! How have you been? Wow, Clara is almost potty trained, that is great! We are not there yet, though she is getting close to being ready. Perhaps she is ready...I need to find some energy to start this training soon! At night though, her diapers are always very wet come morning....so maybe not quite ready. Anyone else potty training? I know Mikayla is done too...I am very impressed with these kids!

Happy belated to Clara! Potty trained already..that's great. Fiona went through a phase where she sat on the potty all the time, and the big toilet too. But she has stoppped showing interest. She's a very inflexible girl and likes to do things in her own time, so I think I'll just take my cues from her. DD1 was much easier to train...but her personality is way more easey-going.
Happy birthday to Katie and Mikayla (it's today too, right?)!
There are so many big changes from 2 to 3...I'm looking forward to a fun year!

Hi Ladies, It sure is quiet in here. I have been feeling pretty bad for dd lately. This week I had some bleeding and that is super scary. I have my u/s on thursday to check viability, etc....so nervous! All the while, I feel super tired and awful. Poor Hailey gets stuck staying home and watching tv more tahn I'd like for her to. She is being pretty good through it all though and when I am feeling good, I try to make it up to her by doing really fun things. She keeps saying "big sister....baby"....I'm not sure that she understands, but I think she seems to sense I am not feeling great so she is taking it easy on me! anyways, hope you are all doing good!

Try not to feel too guilty Michelle. I'm sure she's okay and happy, even if she is watching more TV than usual. The most important thing is just being around you. And she won't remember any of this anyways!! All we did on the weekend was stay at home, play games and watch tv/movies. It was too cold to go out and there was no one to come visit us. We just played with toys, coloured, watched movies...the kids were happy. A little bored, but happy.
I hope everything is okay with the pregnancy. Take it easy and don't push yourself. Now's the time where you have every excuse to eat convenience food, put on TV shows and laze around.
We are a quiet bunch lately. I don't have much to report. I got a job offer in Calgary, so we are thinking about moving there. There's lots of pros and cons, and I'm trying to figure it out in my head. I get my official offer letter tomorrow or Thursday so I'll look it over and decide then.
Fiona is doing great. I love seeing her personality come out more. Ava is so easy-going and carefree. Fiona is so intense and so much more thoughtful about things. She's a total goofball and tons of fun, but she is very insistent on doing things on her own and she still has quite the screech. We're in gymnastics now so we go once a week. The first class was pretty rough but she's getting the hang of it now; she waits her turn and is starting to participate more. She loves hanging on the bars...she makes monkey noises when she does it

Good luck at your u/s tomorrow Michelle, let us know how it goes. I had quite a bit of spotting with Nico, and a bunch of u/s's. It never was anything, so doc said my cervix was super sensitive, even a BM could cause a bit of spotting. I spotted with Diego too, but that was a low lying placenta, both cases turned out well, as you know. You've met them both several times! I hope yours turns out good too.
Not much going on here either. Nico is still an iffy sleeper, he won't nap for us on the weekend, unless I take him for a 45 minute car ride and listen to talk radio. he naps at daycare though. He is talking more & more though, starting to parrot back almost everything we say.

aww michelle i am so sorry, if you need anything at all, please call.
I know i am never on here, mostly because it takes SOOO long for CPO to load, is anyone else finding this???
I went back and read some of the posts.
haha we measured mikayla on her second birthday... she was 3'1 1/2
so apparently she is going to be 6'3... are you kidding me!!! i kinda doubt thing though.
mikayla is doing amazing, she is sooo funny now, and a complete clown. But the older she gets, the more i question if i want another one, the baby stage was really really hard on us, with her acid reflux and well... [censored], she cried ALL the time, and still doesn't sleep through the night
I am terrified of having another one of those!
i promise i will try to come on here more, we just got a laptop, so i don't have to try to load cpo on my iphone.
nice to read about everyone though!

Michelle; so sorry to hear. How awful for you to have gone through this so many times. I hope you're taking good care of yourself, and that someone is there to take care of you too. {{{big hugs}}} I'll be thinking of you...
