My perfect day would start with the chance to sleep in. (This never happens at my house!) I would then love to have breakfast in bed with my kids and Husband. Waffles, fresh fruit and coffee. After a long, hot shower I would kiss the family goodbye and be picked up in a limo and whisked away to a luxurious spa where I would meet up with some of my closest friends. We would spend the rest of the day being pampered and having a wonderful lunch at the spa. Afterward we would jump back in the limo and do a little shopping for OURSELVES! Shoes, handbags..anything goes. I would them love to meet my Husband for dinner and drinks and spend the rest of the evening just talking and being a couple before returning home to kiss the kids goodnight, enjoy a long hot bath and head to bed.
Does that not sound perfect??

Wow - it's been a long time since I've posted at CPO !!

My perfect day -

no pager
sleep in then
family snuggles
hike on the escarpment followed by
trip to a spa for massage/facial/manicure
dinner at The Outback
sunset at the lake
home for an hour alone on the net to journal my wonderful day
new pajamas and bed sheets
tucked in by my kids
la-la land

ahhhhhhhh sounds magical...

My perfect Mother's day would start with sleeping in (hard to do with 5yr old twin girls and a 2yr old boy)...be awakened by my hubby and kids serving me breakfast in bed with a cup of coffee, and a breakfast of my kids choice,,,as long as they helped anything would be special...then off to have a manicure/pediscure/hair done with my Twins (make up for my 1st mother's day with them) and then join my husband, son,my parents, sister and in-laws and a few special friends for a nice supper and enjoy the meal with all the other important mom's in my life.

First off, very rarely do I wake up and stay home with my daughter as a working mom I never stop, from getting things ready to take my baby to the sitter and coffee for the travel mug, going to work, picking her up from the sitter getting home to make dinner, leaves little room for quality time to bond with her.My perfect mothers day would be to actually spend the whole day being a mom. wake up to a beautiful sunny day with my lovely 19 month old daughter, sharing some delicious pancakes with her and a fresh cup of coffee all made by my husband, followed by cuddling on the couch for a little while which she loves to do after breakfast. Then I would love to take a nice walk to the nearest park and push her in the swing. Pizza sounds great for lunch and is easy to pick up or have delivered.
Then I would join her on her afternoon nap, no blankets needed she is warm enough for both of us.
I would then love to take her to the pool for a family swim she loves the water and so do my husband and and I.
Meeting up with my immediate family for dinner on mothers day would also be a must, as we are incredibly close.
A quiet evening with Chloe's favourite cartoon on treehouse (In the night Garden)followed by some bed time stories.
Sounds like the perfect day.
We live in such a gaced pace world these days, I have to do this I have to do that, but we forget those things can always wait until tomorrow. Our babies not babies for long, cherish every moment!

My perfect day would begin with sleeping in until 9am. Then, my husband and kids would come and wake me with breakfast in bed. They would then leave me alone for the rest of the day. I would go shopping for a bit then go to a restaurant. The day would end with a trip to the Spa. I would come home just in time to help tuck the kids in.
My husband and I would then watch a movie (of my choosing). Ahhhh.... to dream....

hmmmm…..my special day would involve a lot of pampering. First, I would sleep in without any kids running in my room and jumping on me. Second, I would enjoy a few hours of facials, manicures, pedicures and a massage. Third, I would enjoy an afternoon of shopping just for me. If the weather was a little warmer, i would spend the afternoon at the beach (by myself) with a pina colada to keep me company. Finally, I would enjoy a fancy dinner with my hubby and then perhaps a movie. That to me would be the perfect mother’s day!

All I just want to do is to sleep in while DH take care of the boys. Then I want to turn the master bedroom into a "Mom-only theater" so I can catch with the movies I have, while I pamper myself with pedicure, face care using homemade masks, and lots of veggie sticks and with dip to treat myself to without any interruption. Don't worry, DH, you will get your day off to yourself on Father's Day LOL.

I wish someone else could carry this baby for me for a day. I'm quite uncomfortable to put it politely. That alone would make my day perfect. But...if the other boys didn't fight, argue or tease each other ALL DAY LONG that would help too! lol

A Ceaser would be nice too but is off limits.

Hmm my perfect Mothers day???
I am so easy to please it's hard to say but i would love to be woken up to a cup of tea in bed, where the kids would give me there home made cards and lots of hugs and kisses truely the best present there is.
Then breakfast at Ricky's where i would find a huge surprise my mum and dad waiting to share the day. After we would all go to Fairmont hot springs to relax just my parents, dh, my kids and myself \:\) Heaven
The reality will be somewhat similar except no Ricky's it's an hour and a half away now we are in the mountains, and my mil is here not my parents. The hot springs well that is on the cards for either the sataurday or mothers day \:\) So pretty close i guess lol

My perfect Mother's Day would be spent celebrating the most important women in my family; not just the Mother's, but the daughter's who may one day become Mother's as well. Last year we started a new tradition in our family that we hope to carry on from year to year. My Grandmother, Mother, myself, my daughter, my Aunt, my Cousin and her daughter all meet for a special "Girl's only" luncheon where we celebrate our connection to each other, our strength as women, and the important role we play in our families. the oldest member of our group is 83 and the youngest is 5. I would like to add to our special day by hiring a photographer to come to our home to create some special photo's of the four generations of women as keepsakes for present and future generations. I would wind up the day with my husband and children enjoying a backyard BBQ and spending time together as a family.

I would love to have dh take over the race to get us out the door to church on time. I would like to not have to help with the kids program- maybe the men could step up to the plate. Out for lunch after church and then a nice leisurely walk at the nature park. I'd love to have the stones replaced in my family ring to add Lydia's and the baby we lost.

Everyday of my life is perfect in one way or another. Each day that I can wake up and hear my oldest boy call me "Pretty Lady" or have Marcus give me a kiss is Mother's Day to me.

The only way I would ever imagine it being any better would be if I had the chance to have one day like that with Emily.

My wish for this Mother's Day is to spend it with my family. As long as we are together I don't care what we are doing.

My perfect Mother's Day would be to wake up in a luxirious hotel on a caribean island. I would wake up and my hubby and son would be there. We would order room service and sit outisde on our oceanview room and look at the sun while it rises and shines down on the glistening blue ocean. We would have a breakfast full of the most delcious foods that would be so good liek chocolate croissants, fresh tropical fruits and juices, delectable cakes and cookies, chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream, bacon and sausage and french toast, served with champagne and orange juice. (And after eating all this food, I would still look amazing in my bikini -- this is a fantasy perfect day after all!)
Then we would walk to the beach which is directly right outside our room and spend the whole day in the sun, laughing and splashing in the water and getting served delicious strawberry daquiris all day long. Then for lunch we would get served all my favorite foods while sitting on one of those beds with shade overlooking the ocean. Favorite foods would include pizza, tacos, guacamole with nachos, burgers and fries...again not an ounce of it would go to my hips.
Later the family would go in and take a nap and I would go out and get a massage by the beach and a facial and body exfoliant, as well as a foot massage. Then a superstylist would come and dress me in a beautiful soft romantic dress that I would wear to dinner and I would meet my hubby and my beautiful son at the restaurant and again we would indulge and then once my son is asleep...hubby and I would have a romantic evening again on the balcony overlooking the waves and the full moon.

That would be my ultimate perfect day.
