Spill the beans. Has your child ever mistakenly witnessed an inappropriate intimate moment between you and your partner?

When they were little and we had a family bed (no crib), dh and did the deed in other areas of the house. At one point we were living in my MIL's basement for a few months, we had our own suite, so our "livingroom" was right outside the bedroom, but we had the couch situated so the back was to the bedroom door and about 15 feet away (it was a long room). The bedroom door squeaked really loudly when it opened, you had to push really hard as well, so we thought for sure we'd hear if one of the kids woke up...... nope. Dh and I were on the couch (with a blanket over us) and I looked over and found 18 month old dd staring at me LOL I have no idea WHAT was going through her head.... but we got her back to bed and did not pick up where we left off lol

I don't remember how hold our son was (I think somewhere around 4) he walked in on us. We decided to have a little afternoon quicky and I was the last one in the room and forgot to lock the door (the ONLY time we had ever forgotten). So we told him we were hugging, lol. I hope it didn't cause any scars

So far ours are to young. But we have just switched to big boy beds for the twins. So I am sure it won't be long. I remember as a teen I could hear my parents. But never walked in on it that I could remember.

Nope! Doors have been locked since they were little. They learned to knock.

No - they've never caught us.
We always close the door, and recntly DH installed a new door & handle - with a lock.

My mom was telling me just the other day about an incident where my sister walked in on her and my step dad when she was six.
I tell my mom shes really bad at making excuses but this one topped the cake. She told my sister that she was "cleaning daddy off"

i read this topic earlier laughing away until this morning...we have a family bed also, so dh and i came out to the living room for a little early morning action....ds1 was at grandma's for a sleepover and every single morning when ds2 wakes up he calls out, i go in and we have a nurse and cuddle. not today, we just finished up, no blankets, remember the best position for women topic....yup that's the one...so me on top, on the couch and we hear "no hug my mommy"... we both are like "hey, little babe", "just a sec", dh says "let mommy find her underwear"....sigh....he's only 31 months, so i'm sure he won't remember his mommy riding daddy like he was a freakin mechanical bull....
