I am looking for recommendations on a bowl that I can stick to DD's tray. The one I have doesn't stay "suctioned" more than a couple of minutes. I don't microwave DD's food, so no need for that feature. TIA

I would love to see if anyone found a bowl that will actually stay stuck. I've bought lots, and none of them stick.

I just bought the Gerber one, it sticks really well, so well that DS has to pull with ALL his might before it comes lose, flinging his food all over the place....yeah, not a fan of the suction bowl! It's like a challenge to him, he HAS to get it off.

I like that comment about the bowl being a personal challange for your DS.

I haven't found one yet either, we have sort of trained DD not to pick up the bowl, she seems to leave it most of the time. I don't mind not using one at home but it is gross without out when you are out, who knows what has been touching the table they are eating off of.

Good Luck.

Oh yeah, Dara was the same! I got one sort (can't remember the brand) and it stuck really well - so well that she yanked it hard enough that the bowl came up and the suction ring stayed on the table!

I gave up on suction bowls at that point...

I had a gerber one and it was a total piece of crap. The suction ring was a separate thing and not only did it not stick, but it didn't stay attached to the bowl.
I'm not sure why someone would want one anyway though? Once DS starts playing with his food i take it away b/c ne's not hungry anymore.

I just bought a Gerber one and it doesn't work any better than the last one. So, I guess we're back to putting food on DD's tray. BTW, the reason why I wanted to get one is not because DD plays with her food (she doesn't play with her food) but for her to learn that food is to be served on a plate or in a bowl.
