Considering these choices, what bugs you the most?
- Toys strewn all over the place
- Piles of laundry
- Dirty dishes, messy kitchen
- Paper and mail clutter
- Nothing, my home stays tidy!???

Mine is incomplete projects! I'll get started on something, then distracted and not get back to it and the mess gets 10x worse!
The next is a messy kitchen! I get completely uninspired when the kitchen is a mess. Honestly it stunts my creativity in there. When it's a mess I find I don't even want to cook!

Mine is an untidy bathroom and our bedroom unkept!
My bedroom is my safe haven...when it's out of whack...I feel out of whack!!

Mine is the messy, cluttered kitchen. I will take out all the ingredients to bake something and run out of time, so I spend the next few days working around those ingredients, suffering from the loss of counter space. Think I would be smart enough to put them away until I have the time to bake, no of course not, if I put them away I will never get lunch baking done. Dirty dishes piled in the sink really kills any motivation I have. I must have an empty clean sink to work with.
The other thing that gets me into grumpy mode is seeing the coffee table full of everyone's stuff. Glasses never find their way back into the kitchen. Right now, there is a mag that just came in the mail, DD's crocheting, some headphones, a folded up piece of paper, a video game jacket, a barrette and a kleenex. I already took in the dishes. And this is nice and neat compared to what it usually gets.
I never mind seeing toys all over, I call it play in progress.

All of them except my house staying tidy.
Toys all over bug me after ds has gone to bed or to school. He's old enough to look after his stuff.
The rest of it... yeah it all bugs me. Which one bugs me more depends on the day.. but the kitchen drives me insane.
so.. off to go to do something about ALL of it. And I just cleaned yesterday.

[What irritates me the most is that nothing IN my home stays tidy.
I can clean all day and by bed time there is stuff all over the place!!!
Just this morning I put 2 loads of laundry away, changed all the bedding, vacuumed, and then went downstaris to where my ds had emptied out the entire contents of my front hall closet, and everything is still all over my mud room right now.
Drives me nuts!!! But oh well, nothing will ever be perfect. Right now I'm going to put it all back together.

I'd say the paper and mail clutter b/c that's dh's responsibility. and him 'organizing' it simply means stacking it all on the computer desk. When it comes time to find something it's not sorted into categories at all. And guess who has to hunt through it all and calculate all his capital gains and losses at tax time?? I'm getting irritated just thinking about it.

The kitchen...it's the heart of our home, and I hate when it gets cluttered & messy.
Have to say since I got my new kitchen it's not been so much of a problem - have to keep the worktops clear if i want to admire them!
The kitchen table will always be an issue.....why does EVERYTHING end up on it, and no one wants to put their stuff away when I'm ready to serve dinner? I think I have apixie that goes around the house finding stuff & leaving on the table...'cos no one in my family leaves their stuff on it

For me I think that it's a messy kitchen and bathroom, because I know it's a dirty mess. Toys don't bug me too much because it's a 'clean' mess, just needs to be picked up.

I am going to say everything. My house just never seems to be tidy. EVER. It sucks. I hate an untidy kitchen as both BF and I are completly not motivated in there. To the extent that neither of us even want to cook in their. Our room turns into a stash zone when company comes over and that drives me mental. And with our laundry being in our unfinished basement, it never gets done and well that's not good either.

The constant cycle of trying to keep on top of things. I seem to start dealing with a problem area, and it has to get worse before it gets better....
Then my dh or my dear kids or someone will come along and either move things or stick everything back where it had been and I don't seem to make any progress. And the worse thing is that it doesn't seem to bother anyone else at all!

IT will have to be the kitchen because the counterspace is not big enough and I need the sink EMPTY. And we don't have a dishwasher (I WISH so I can have more time for myself!).

I'm going to say all of it, too. I'm starting to think we are outfrowing our space! Well, de need to declutter, or get better organizational skills! Right now, my CHRISTMAS stuff is in it's boxes in the LR, waiting for DH to bring it down stairs to our locker :s So that is taking up what very little room we have, DS#3 got lots of toys for Christmas, but no toy box, so his toys are strewn all over the other "free space" in the LR....... The DR is in need of a declutter-I can stand clutter in a computer desk or china cabinet, but it's like clutter is magnetically drawn to a clean space! And don't even start me on my kitchen!!!
I think it's just the time of year, really. Once things get back on track, I'll be able to take care of it all!

I'd say the clutter on my kitchen counter and toys strewn all around. However, that only bothers me when I'm PMSing ... the rest of the month I can deal with it but it drives me seriously batty when I'm PMSing.
Most of all, when DH leaves his stuff in *my* space ... that's the worst!
