What toys are your 5-7 yo boys playing with?

We are planning a trip back to Canada in October and I want to do some Christmas shopping for the kids while I'm there. What are the games/books/toys your 5-7 yo boys like? What's popular there at the moment (I'm a bit out of the loop :))

My boys are almost 6 & 8 and they are totally into Go-Go'z Crazy Bones. Even they're cousins that live in a different province have gotten into them as well.
My boys have a coupon of collector tins and a book that you can collect stickers of the different figures.
Bakugan was a hit, but is slowly working out of their systems, I despise those magnetty things!
Mario & Luigi are always a big hit, although I would guess you can find that kind of stuff easier over where you are right now?

I think those hamster things are called Zhu Zhu pets? They're "in" right now with my son and his friends. Also Toy Story 3, Star Wars and Lego. Brendan is obsessed with Lego!

Thanks for the suggestions! Are the go-go'z crazy bones hard to find? I think my boys would be interested in those.
With Mario Bros - (I'm going to sound very out-of-the-loop  ) is it limited to video games or am I missing a whole other field of toys? We have a Wii and they like MarioKart and if there are more games in particular your kids like, could you share? You're are right, Ladybug Mom, they are super easy to buy here (in pirating heaven).
I had forgotten about Stars Wars stuff!! Thanks for the reminder!

mine is 7 and loves 'construction' type toys...lego, k'nex, zoobs...
he also loves marbles, and dinosaurs (the imaginex ones by fisher price were his favourites at 5).
another big hit here are puzzles and board games. his favourites are monopoly and the other 'opoly' games, connect 4, guess who, and sorry...

My son will be 7 at the end of August... he loves Transformers and his Nintendo DS... lately he's really liking Toy Story 3 Lego (going to see the movie today).. He's now getting out of the StarWars phase

There is, but it returns once in a while, lol
My ds9 has loved lego, star wars and his nintendo for a couple of years now. He seems to have phases of each, lol.

It's all about dinosaurs in my house. books, toys, video games, stuffed animals...anything about dinosaurs.
He loves his dsi too.

toy story 3 here! noah still really enjoys his leapster and is getting into spidrman stuff!
good thread! its giving me ideas for noahs birthday next month! i think legos will be a HUGE hit!
