I am in with the midwives and they are awesome. I called them the day my period was due (that was when I tested +ve) and I didn't get in until I was 12 weeks because they have such a long waiting list. That being said, if you get in, they are awes

My dd also has some snacking "habits." She always wants a snack when we're getting on the bus. That's a habit. But she also will prefer a snack over a meal, so I've taken to giving her "snacks" in the form of things that are for the next meal. I

My favorite was a microfiber towel tri-folded with a infant prefold wrapped around it. The microfiber held a lot of liquid and I found the prefold pulled the liquid in faster and I got less leakage out of the legs on big pees. It was more work fold

Why not try a split custody first (50/50) - is that possible (not sure where your DSD lives in relation to your family).
This way she can get a taste for it without the commitment.

Incidentally, when I flew to Japan, our flight ended up landing in Narita with a dead body too...but he was a paying passenger, who unfortunately had a heart attack.
